Wow! My girlfriend Carissa keeps reminding me to post on here and I keep forgetting! Pregnancy brain! Yes...its true! I am finally preggo! 22 weeks today actually! I haven't posted on here since April so a lot has happened in our lives since then!
We are expecting a baby boy in April which we couldn't be more excited about! Picking his name however is something less exciting between Todd and I. We can't seem to agree on anything! We have a few options lingering in our heads but nothing concrete yet! We had about 4 girls names we agreed on but of course...baby boy was announced at our last Dr. appointment! My family is excited to be expecting the first nephew/grandson, and I'm super excited its me giving them him! :) I have restrained from buying much for our little guy. A few onsies here and there and my mom has bought him his first toy, security blanket, bibs and onsie! All I can say is he is going to be all decked out in monkey gear! Mommy's a sucker for little monkeys!
Bryce is done with football for the year...booooo! I love football season. He did so great! Lots of touchdowns and tackles and no real injuries which is great! He is now in his first year of wrestling and loving every second of it so far! He lost his first couple matches but kept up with his opponents! His last meet however, he got 1st place in! 1 win by points and 2 pins! He was so proud of himself! If he keeps this up, he'll be kicking his dads but in no time! School is going well with Bryce too! Keeping his grades up has been a priority in our household this year, and hes keeping his promises of trying harder and participating!
Morgan is still out little dancing queen! Goes to dance practice once a week and has her recital in May which she is already looking forward to! Doing great in school as usual and keeping us on her toes with drama and her everyday life! Morgan is excited to be a big sister in April and has wanted to be part of decision making the whole way, which is great at times and frustrating at times! ;) Bryce just says he wants to teach him all these fun things to do and how to play sports and be tough! Love how they get involved! Melts my heart!
Todd and I are doing great! He is still at Cemstone working long hours to support our growing family! I am still at Mykkanens, enjoying my days at home when I can! We are just trying to plan for our little addition in April and trying to get the house baby-proofed and ready! You could maybe call it nesting! :)
Until next time!

What's New...?
Wow! Its been such a long time since I've last blogged. We don't have a lot of super exciting stuff going on in our lives right now, we've just been busy living them!
Todd is working back in Minnesota for the time being so we are soaking up as much time as a family as possible! We are getting so spoiled that we never want him to leave again!
I am keeping busy with work and what social life I have...which isn't much nowadays! The kids keep me on my toes! My sister and brother-in-law just bought a house in Buffalo so I have been over there a lot helping them get settled and paint! Not an easy task with a huge house with vaulted ceilings! I know I complain about my "hole in the wall" but I would choose to paint this house anyday over that house! But the high point of all of this...? My house is due for a paint job too so paybacks will be noted!
Bryce has joined track this year for spring sports! We are super excited about this; we love keeping busy with things like this! He hasn't had his first meet yet but he gets to help out with the Varsity meets and of course, dorks of parents we are...went and watched him help with the Varsity meet! Yeah I know...!
Morgan is still dancing her way to the top! She has her second recital of the year coming up on Labor Day Weekend and she just joined a compitition dance league that starts with a competition in May in Eden Prairie! Hopefully that goes well because she is super excited about it! She dances all over the house showing us her moves!
We are getting super excited for this summer with Winstock fastly approached and some family camping trips planned! Hopefully this cold weather will slow and the warmer weather will show its face so we can get this busy summer a rollin'!

Super Bowl 2011
Today we are hosting our first Super Bowl party! We are excited and currently getting everything ready to go! We"re having lots of friends and family over which we are really excited for! Not a big fan of the Packers or the Steelers but we are huge fans of football around here! Not sure who I'm cheering for yet...I think I might decide once the first 3rd down comes for each team! If they can get past that...they might have a chance! Both teams are great and both quarterbacks have different things about them that can offer the team a chance to win! Which one will do better? That is the question! Its Sunday....Football time..! You can't go wrong either way!

I cannont believe we have already been married for over a year. I thank God everyday for the love he shows me and the family we have together! I love you so much Todd! Happy 3 year engagment anniversary! (If that exists!)

Basketball
What can I say....Watching 4th graders play basketball was a laugh that I haven't had in a long time! When I played I honestly don't remember looking that horrible! The coach tries so hard but girls at that age just don't have a whole lot of coordination! They just kinda run back and forth and throw the ball up in huge crowds and whoever catches that ball catches the ball. It was the funniest thing....the coach tries to tell the girls to keep their arms/hands up to look open and to stop the other team from scoring. The coach will yell, "girls, arms up" and the whole team will stop and throw their arms up in the air! Totally hilarious!
Those girls try so hard! Morgan scored her first basket which she was super excited about! They won their first game and lost their second game only by 1 basket! She is looking forward to her next game!

Morgan's Basketball Game
We are so excited for Morgan's first basketball game this weekend, but I think Morgan is more excited! She gets to play 2 games on Saturday morning against Rockford! She gets to be the white team so she is trying to match everything to her white jersey; her shoes, shorts and headbands! We are in for a long haul if she is already doing this at age 10! Results to follow on how she does after Saturday!
